Hen House says HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you out there in cyberspace.Hope you all enjoyed family and friends and perhaps some well needed down time.I certainly did.The shop has been closed and I have been thinking about my next plan of action!A few road trips to hunt and gather for your viewing pleasure.Think I will take off soon to find some crusty,worn,cracked pieces for the little building that sways………those of you that frequent the shop know what I mean.The floor has a bit of a tilt to it from age.The building was erected in the 1800s……..I have a photo of it from 1901.The facade looks just about the same a hundred plus years but instead of selling antiques and vintage finds the little house sold cigars and ice cream!What a combination!Just hope she remains standing for another few years so we can continue to be the little shop that inspires your needs and wants.Off and running………….where is that bottle of pink champagne?Hope to see you in 2012.

NO, that is not me!I must give credit as this is a photo from a gorgeous book I received for Christmas from my Italian husband called DEBORAH TURBERVILLE the Fashion Pictures by Rizzoli.I absolutely adore it and have devoured all the contents.
